Apple Music intends to display its 100 Top Albums chosen by her team, musicians as well as people from music industry starting this coming Monday.
Apple will hardly ever have to apologize for their choice of albums on Apple Music’s best albums list the way it did with “Crush.” However, the list is bound to attract criticism because that is what usually happens with such lists and also because of what it has already disclosed.
Rachel Newman, Apple Music’s senior director of content and editorial, said in a statement
“100 Best brings together all the things that make Apple Music the ultimate service for music lovers,”. “human curation at its peak, an appreciation for the art of storytelling, and unparalleled knowledge of music and an even deeper love for it.”
“We have been working on this for a very long time, and it’s something we are all incredibly proud of and excited to share with the world,” she continued.
Apple Music reveals their preferences with the music they have subscribed to by revealing the numbers 100-91 out of which they have displayed the first ten. Out of the first ten of these albums, seven are from the 21st century, two are from the 90s while just one is from the 1970s but unfortunately there are no albums from the 80s.
