You can create a bouncing Live Photo, which makes jumpy movements back and forth like a boomerang, from your image that is moving in motion for 1,5 seconds before and 1,5 seconds after it was taken when recalling things such as apple’s live photos on an iPhone.
In case you are not yet knowledgeable about Instagram, you must be aware of what a boomerang means. After introducing Live Photos in 2015, Apple included several effects in their Photos app which could be used to transform these into interesting animated videos and bounce mode is nothing different from boomerang. It is able to rewind action back and forth. Here is a guideline on how you can create yours through your iPhone device.
Here’s how to turn live photos in repeatable boomerangs:
- Open the Photos app and find your Live Photo. You can browse through your albums or check the “Live Photos” section under “Media Types”.
- Tap on the Live Photo to open it.
- Look at the top left corner. You’ll see a yellow “LIVE” icon there. Tap on that icon.
- A small menu will appear. From that menu, choose “Bounce”.
When you choose an effect, it will be applied at once and thus available for sharing using a Share icon found on the bottom left of your screen. In addition, it is important for you to know that other two effects exist in Photos app: Loop repeats action in a continuous looping video while Long Exposure simulates a DSLR-like long exposure effect through motion blur.
