Apple released a minor update today for its visionOS operating system, which powers the Vision Pro headset, which was launched in February. Version 1.1.2 of visionOS arrives one month after the previous update, version 1.1.
Vision Pro users can install the update through the Settings app. Navigate to the General section and select “Software Update.” The Vision Pro headset must be removed during installation, with progress displayed on the front EyeSight display.
According to Apple’s release notes, version 1.1.2 focuses on bug fixes. The company did not specify which bugs were addressed. Apple recommends the update for all Vision Pro users.
In addition to the public release, Apple also made a revised beta version of visionOS 1.2 available to developers. This new beta carries version number 21O5555f, superseding the previous version 21O5555e.
This update highlights Apple’s commitment to regular updates for visionOS. With the beta testing of version 1.2 underway, we can also expect the introduction of visionOS 2 in June, potentially bringing a significant set of new features.
